I stoped by this great little hidden gem on my way to Tahoe & Wow!!! On top of the best customer service I tried their toasted mellow coffee per their recommendation & it was super good. Just the right amount of sweetness and coffee I was looking for. I really love finding little mom and pop shops like this to give back to the community and they just have a more personal feel from the staff. Definitely a spot I will be back to every time I'm passing through!

It's been many years since I've came through here. On many visits the drinks were watered down and the service was not the friendliest. I heard earlier today it was recently sold to a young couple so I thought I'd give this place a new chance. The owners were both friendly and my drink was made quickly and tasted great. It's still a walk up or drive thru and has a few tables outside. I will definitely start coming back and hopefully word gets around that it's changed hands. There's a lot of us locals that would much rather support our town's small businesses rather than Starbucks, Dutch Bros, and Dunkin'.
Placerville Coffee Depot is awesome!! The owners are extremely nice and Im told by staff they roast their own beans. All of their drinks, muffin top and cookies are yummy and very reasonably priced. you can get a small "GOOD" cup of coffee for 1.00, where else is this happening. Please go by Placerville Coffee Depot and give them your support. The staff are also very nice and accommodating.
The Coffee depot has some of the best Coffee around.. But What makes it such a great stop everyday is the wonderful young ladies that work There Rachel Taylor and Maddi they are all ways very sweet and Friendly It is the best start to my day , and i know people that feel the same its great that they are open at 6am Keep up the great job Ladies
They have Peet's coffee, which is great, and my favorite standard. They have good scones and muffins, though they always seem to be out of most of the flavors by the time I get to them, offer more robust food menuthan the other coffee stands. Also extra points for being the cutest drive through coffee in the area.
Great spot. Quick service, good coffee and can blow through in minutes. They have delicious empandas and the kids smoothies are awesome looking and tasty.
Love experiencing the kindness of young people. Very difficult times for everyone especially POC. To be in an area where I stand out and to have strangers say good morning with eye contact , passing by simple regular human treatment, I feel better about driving way up out here in the hills :) Good job Young ones.
